Anton co-founded the UK registered charity Standing Voice, an international non-governmental organisation based in Tanzania which focuses on tackling the acute plight of people with albinism in Tanzania and East Africa
Standing Voice
In 2015 Anton orchestrated a fundraising expedition for Standing Voice to climb Kilimanjaro; the tallest mountain in Africa at 5,985m. Despite a fearsome 66% success rate, all 20 climbers including Anton made it to the summit.
Through his personal charity: The Bilton Charitable Foundation, Anton supported the establishment of The Bilton High School in Hlabekisa Community, Mpumalang, South Africa near the Mozambique border. The school provides much needed High School education for 400 young people some of whom previously had to walk up to 14km every day to get to and from school.
Through his support of various North Korean focused charities and specifically (https://www.libertyinnorthkorea.org/) he has assisted in the rescue of over 140 people defecting from North Korea.
Anton is a patron of the Arts and has made substantial donations both to The Tate and to the Sir John Soane Museum.
