Entities – A Scientific Odyssey Through Psychedelics, Spirituality and Ancient Wisdom is a feature length documentary about the scientific quest by English entrepreneur Anton Bilton, into the nature of entity contact as encountered with mystical experiences and psychedelics. Anton’s personal journey began with a spontaneous mystical experience when he was 15 and then continued with a 25-year psychedelic and ayahuasca practice. Anton’s visionary experiences in these altered states of consciousness raised the question of what were the otherworldly, and seemingly autonomous, sentient beings encountered in that visionary realm. Virtually all religions have been spawned by entity contact and more than 60% of people in the entire world believe in spirits or entities.

In this new age of supposed “disclosure”, UAP and alien abduction experiences are growing in frequency. Yet no material evidence exists, leading to the idea that these visitations are happening in the realm of mind as opposed to the world of matter. Could it be that aliens are entities…. spirits? And that they’ve been visiting us in altered states of consciousness for millennia? Materialistic science hasn’t been able to properly investigate the mysteries of subjective encounters within consciousness…. until now.

The presence of these entities can be purposefully invoked by taking DMT (N, N-dimethyltryptamine), a molecule that is present in the human brain, ubiquitous in nature and the strongest visionary psychedelic in the world. Anton Bilton decided to find a way to scientifically investigate the reality of these phenomena. He assembled an outstanding scientific team of world-renowned neurologists, psychologists, pharmacologists, biologists, physicists, leading scientists in psychedelic research, philosophers and religious leaders to develop a scientific protocol for a first of its kind scientific study into the reality of these seemingly otherworldly beings. With advice from longstanding DMT expert Dr. Rick Strassman “The Spirit Molecule”, Prof. Robin CarhartHarris and Dr. Christopher Timmermann at Imperial College London facilitated an extended infusion study with DMT. In a clinical environment, selected psychonautic volunteers were injected with this extraordinarily potent substance while their brainwaves were measured by cutting edge technology. Anton himself bravely made the decision to volunteer.

Adding more spice to the experiments, Anton and Dr Chris Timmermann felt it was important to include shamanistic wisdom from indigenous traditions. Through Anton’s long-standing relationship with Colombian mestizo shaman Mao Tatanka, the film crew was allowed to bring cameras into a Colombian shamanistic ayahuasca ceremony, something never been done before, and seek guidance in their experiments from Mao and his Elders. Mao Tatanka was then asked to volunteer to participate in the DMT extended infusion project at Imperial College, London. This being the first time in the world that an indigenous shaman has participated in a scientific experiment of this nature. The results from the experiments were extraordinary. World changing.

This unique and entirely novel documentary poses and answers some of the greatest mysteries in human history; Are the entities encountered during spontaneous mystical experiences and psychedelic experiences real? Do these sentient beings exist in a parallel dimension which we can access through DMT? What are these entities? Are they spirits? Angels and demons? Emissaries from God? Or aliens? What can these experiences tell us about nature of reality and consciousness? What is the purpose of this mysterious compound DMT? Could it be a technology to allow us to communicate with the divine?
